I agree entirely, most people agree that most of the time the best gains are acheived by facing the subs towards the rear of the car, my personal experience I enjoye mine more firing at the trunk lid.

I was planning on mounting my 15's toward the ceiliing and having the ports into the back of the seat... or should I face them up like the subs? Would the seats restrict the flow from the ports? UGH the little things that make a difference

the spec sheet for my cv subs say that the port should "play" into the listening area. going by that i would have the ports firing up and the subs firing into the rear. if i understand vented enclosures right the majority of the sound will come from the ports.
