DD9500g is 3"
Why cant a 3" take 3kw?

Dont forget that power is only one side of the equation, time duration being the other. I think even DD wouldnt recommend 3kw on a 9500 for extended periods of time. Dont let burp info bleed over into daily usage situations.

Except that the top plate is obviously thinner even in a photograph... as is the back plate //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

Those appear to be 25mm thick slugs... note that top plate is thinner than the slug, the NS top plate is 25mm thick and the NS back plate is 30mm thick.

Not to mention all of the soft parts and coil being totally different.

lanzar not the same company that it started out as. sound around bought the company quite a few years ago. now the opti drive is still pretty good product but the rest of the line is so so.

I got one from my distributor about a year ago to try. They have 3" 8 layer coils.Nice woofers for the $. They will not take 3000rms //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif The most i could throw at it and keep it together was 2000rms. they come in 12" and 15"
