i'm new 2 the caraudio thing and i really don't know n/e thing about it so could u tell me if i put 4 10" jlw6's and 2 jl 1000/1 amps would that work or what would be better or good? please n/e help will be appreciated thanks

i say u will hit just fine. brands are everybody's own opinion, but most agree that jl is a good one. so go for it! those are good first choices.

It would fit. Id say the setup would run you about $2200 for just the amp and subs, but you still have to buy a box and a h/u.

depending on how much of your trunk you want to use for subs and if you want the 1000/1 go with 3 12w6. JL likes to use those funny ohm loads on the speakers I guess it doesn't matter with their amps what ohm load you throw at em. if price is an issue and trunk space is limited run one 1000/1 to 3 10w3 or w6s, difference is about 60 bucks per. with any of these setups you will shake your screws loose in a month then you will have to buy a new car. good luck
