hey i found some rockford punch hx2's i want to buy. they are sellin dual 4 ohm and dual 2 ohm subs for the same price which one is better? or is their any difference? i was wonderin if one had more wirein options or somthin. please help me

Agreed with this here. Since you have the unit pulled out of the car/dash...test it at your car battery directly for operation. very simple to do...
