I think I fried my HD8000. I haven't taking it out and looked at it yet but it stopped working and started smoking. Not sure what caused it. Figured it would blow a fuse or go into protect mode before it started smoking. Only been using it 9 months about 4 hours a week. Need some suggestions of...

Yep I went out and checked connections. The positive on from the front battery to the rear was disconnected. Dang mechanics... lol.... everything is working as normal thanks... Shocked that I was able to go 2 weeks on battery only for both amps. Those xs power are no joke.

I have a 300amp alt and Duracell agm in the front with 2/0 going to the rear batteries (2 XS Power 3100). Noticed the volts on my Taramp 8000d was reading 11.7. Normally it reads low 14 until I am really pushing it then it drops down to low 13's. I started checking the amp before I would drive...

I bought the unit on Amazon, not sure if they are an authorized dealer or not. Yes, troubleshooting would be a good idea but with the screen freezing and resetting I figured it was an internal issue.

I have a PIONEER AVH-X7800BT. Just got installed 3 weeks ago and since day one the screen freezes and resets itself. Highly annoying! If I bought another Pioneer unit would it be plug and play or would it have to be the exact same unit? I liked having a screen so I could go through my thumb...

Update.... H/O Alt installed. While doing that we noticed the battery terminals were too long which wasn't giving a good connection. No issues now with voltage. New problem today... The front right and rear right speakers stopped working. Not sure what it could be. I was thinking Rca's but it...

No just stock alt and no big 3. I have an agm Duracell under the hood and 2 xs power 3100's in the rear.

Shop installed a lot of it. I had Cherryman build the box. So you think the ho alt and big 3 should fix the problem?
