What Amp Do I Need Please Help

If your doors sound good you could just run a mono amp to your sub. You can pick up a nice 200-300 watt mono amp for cheap. Installation on a 5 channel or a mono amp is pretty easy and there are lots of diy instructions around on the Web and on YouTube you could check out before diving into it.

    noob power wire question

I fuse to the hardware demands that the manufacturer recommends. The hardware demands should always be equal or less than the wires capacity anyways so this is the way I have always done it. I have never really researched it but it has always seemed to work fine for me.

    noob power wire question

The rockford amp says 50 amp fuse recommended and the ss amp has 2x40amp fuses in it so that is 130 amps. Fuse under the hood off of the battery with 150 amp fuse, you could probably even do a 120 amp fuse if you have that laying around, I believe that what came with your kit. Then a 50 amp...

    noob power wire question

Yea you wouldn't really need the distribution block at that point in your case. In reality I believe you will be fine with the 1 run of 4 gauge ofc to a distro block. Then splitting to either amp from there. Just like I said fuse off the battery up front for the total amperage draw of both...

    noob power wire question

But eitherway, to the op eitherway you can run the 4 gauge individually to each amp or both 4 gauge runs to distribution block to split to each amp or honestly if it is good ofc cable it more than likely handle the load of both of those amps. Just make sure you fuse them off the battery and...

    noob power wire question

No disrespect but 2 runs of 4 gauge, depending on length and what type of wire you are running, falls between the equivalent of 1 to 0 gauge awg. Some calculators will classify it equal to 0 and others will give it a 1 gauge equality. Just depends on where you look.

    noob power wire question

The tn4 is rated at 2x40 amp fuses and the rockford 50 amp fuse recommended so a total of 140 amp draw. I personally have never worked with knukoncept wire but if it true 4 gauge ofc it should handle that kind of draw. I would fuse off the battery up front then fuse the wire after distribution...

    Wiring question

I could be wrong but I believe that amp only has 4 gauge terminals anyways so if you went higher than 4 you would need reducers. **edit I stand corrected. According to amazon it does have 0 gauge inputs.

    Wiring question

As everyone else said wire it to 1 ohm set gains properly should be fine. For your wire, is it ofc, welding cable, or cca? If it ofc you are more than likely ok, just may wanna check amp and cable to see if it getting hot while pushing the system hard. To be safe though you could run a 2nd...

    Sub help

Never worked with much jl or zapco equipment but I would think that should be a decent and significant upgrade. 360 watts to a sub is still not gonna be very loud but as from your explanation your not looking for that extreme loud setup but rather sq with nice bass complimenting the mids and...

    Would this design actually work?

Yep you guys pretty much hit the ideas I was figuring on doin. Most likely design I will be trying is port over or under the subs on the baffle. Next is v the baffle to open up room for more port area and final idea was t shaped box with front baffle opening wider as it clears the wheel wells...
