Price check on SA amp, RF amp, and SQ sub

Stripped the audio equipment out of my car since I'll likely be trading it in soon and trying to get an idea of what's a reasonable price I can expect to sell them for. Both amps were purchased about 5 years ago and the sub about 3 years ago. Cosmetic rating of all: 8 or 9/10. Sundown Audio...

    Matching An Amp (Newb Here)

You have posted a lot of questions in one thread and we don't have too much to go on. For starters, figure out what your preferences are on some of the questions below. 1) How much trunk space are you willing to sacrifice? Roughly get dimensions (L x W x H) of the area you have to work with...

    Scratch and dent refurb SAZ-1200d

I was about to pull the trigger on one of the hifonics zrx 1500.1 or brx 1600.1 for $160/$210 when I came across the scratch and dent refurb SAZ-1200d units for only ~$250. I believe there has been benches where this amp hits ~1700W (and not even at 14.4V). Also, comes with a 1-year...

    Refurb scratch and dent saz-1200d

So browsing around I saw a refurb scratch and dent sundown sax-1200d amp for only $250ish dollars and comes with the full 1 year warranty. After seeing this amp benched at 1700ish watts, this seems like a good deal, but I'm concerned at how it might hold up. Has anyone bought one of these and...

My Audio build. Recommendations on speakers?

I agree on considering amp'ing your door speakers. The Pioneer z140BH is only 14 watts/ch and you can pick up a 4 channel amp at 50W/ch for pretty cheap nowadays (improve SQ and SPL). The polk audio speakers are pretty efficient, but I would still be worried about the sub's being way louder...

My Audio build. Recommendations on speakers?

I have the coaxial polk audio db651s and I love the sound of them. They lack a bit in the bass department, but if you're running 2x alpine type r's, you got the lows covered. I have one in each door running on 50W/piece and they get loud while still clear. I'm assuming the polk audio...

Worth it to go from coaxial to components in front doors?

I would say $130-150, but less is better. I really like the sound of my current polk audio db651s which is why I was thinking replace them with their component counterpart.

Worth it to go from coaxial to components in front doors?

Right now I have coaxial Polk Audio db651s in all four doors of my 2011 jeep liberty powered with 50W a piece from a Rockford Fosgate amp and Rockford Fosgate Prime R1T-S tweeters in the dash reflecting off of the windshield powered with 50W a piece from my head unit. The tweeters are only...

    What 10's should I get

You have all made excellent points and I think my idea of 4 10s was shooting for a 'cool' factor when looking at it and not being realistic with the sound and what I have to work with. That being said, I'm going to get a new amp (probably a Hifonics Zeus series), and another alpine type r 12...

    What 10's should I get

How do you like those American bass drivers in your sig? My friend just got two 12s and says they get ridiculously loud with 1.1kw each. My local store also sells American bass so that could be a possibility. He was also showing me 10 inch Memphis c3 for $125/ each
