Well if the 12" is indeed $800+ it appears I'll be sticking with the mag. Oh well, for that price I'm sure it performs. Wish I had the funds to give it a shot.

Thanks Ive done some searching, but was hoping to get some input regarding my specific situation (music choice, not trunk car, power, etc). Not that I'm sure it'll really even end up mattering much anyway. But I'll continue reading what has been written around here about the mag.
