hey i am the one who had the problem with kicker, the 15" was a sweet sub...if you are looking for spl go for it...it didnt have as good as sound quality as some other subs i have heard...but **** decent for a 15"...i ran a bd1000.1 @ 1ohm and i fried the voice coil...well if you can get them...

I was runnig a Rockford bd1000.1 @1 ohm to a Kicker L715". Why did I fry the voice coil I thought this sub could handle this load. Was my box to small. It was about 3 cubic feet and vented. Or did I run to much power to it. Thanks Jared
