I just read your other post and I see that the previous owner was only using the RCAs. I know my DXZ955mp (next model up) has an internal amp kill in the sound settings. You might try looking at the settings and see if the internal amp is disabled. The previous owner may have disabled it because...

Nice HU, but it sounds like the internal amp is fried. Pull it out and give it a sniff and see if it smells like burning.

Audiopipe is alirght. I ran the 1500w rms amp for about a year and it blew up. But I mean, it was a $130 chinese amp that I absolutely abused. They'll do in a pinch.
