The Pioneer DEH-1600 was my first head unit. Bought back in '04, I believe I was 16 lol. I just installed this head unit in a friends car last weekend. Very nice for the price.

The JL is not worth the money. It's a good sub but for the price the Infinity wins. Although, I would recommend the RE RFX8d4 (not REX8d4) over it. You would need to be conservative with the gain while running the amp at 2ohms though.

I do not believe you have enough voltage to power it properly. I have personally been involved with a Warhorse install and even with dual 300 amp alts and a big battery bank, we were dropping into the low 12's.
