I'm in the market for something with a lot of features and good eq. So right now i'm looking at this Pioneer MVH-P8200 (MVHP8200) 3-inch In-Dash Multimedia Receiver with Built-in SD USB/iPod Anyone have any experience with this deck?

It sounds sweet. My friend put it in his old 15 enclosure that over 3 cubic feet and it shakes the entire car. I hit 127.2 decibels. .2 db's higher then the jl's hit. With only one sub.

The thing is a beast.

Today my 12" Rockford P3 will be arriving it will be powered by my Rockford BD1000 amp. I only paid 100.00 dollars for the sub and 75 for the amp. This is cheaper and more powerful then my last set up. I can't wait.

It depends more on the enclosure you put them in. For example the JLW1 vs. the Type E. If you put each one in a sealed enclosure the W1 would beat the E. If you put them in a ported box the E would get louder. However the W1 would still annihilate it in terms of clarity. Now you take a Type X...
