Back when I ordered mine last year from 3.5, it took about a week after he recieved payment. By the way they sound delicious.

As much as I have tC pride, since I do own one, the Accord would win in performance. Even though the Accord is a lot heavier, it has alot more power to make up for it.

I did this as soon as I got them. Perhaps ill try it again but i'll try a few things differently this time.

Perhaps, I didnt set my gains right. But if I were to lower my gains slightly, would my components be able to get louder before bottoming out? By the way, I have SLC kicks with about 150W going to each side.

So you'll be able to supply each sub 1000W or is that the total wattage for both subs? If it's the latter, then two JL 12w6v2s is my recommendation.

Right now Rainbow Profis are at the top of my list. Any other suggestions? Subs come in tommorow so we will see if I really need to upgrade or not.

So does this mean you are or are not interested in this? IMO, the L7 gets very loud but you were right on the dot with the SQ. However, the w6v2 can get pretty loud on its own and doesnt require much power either. 900w is too much for even a 12w6v2. The most I would feed it would be 5-600...

The SQ on the 265s are pretty good but it depends on what your coming off of. I mean, compared to my old stock pioneer scion speakers, these sound much better.

I haven't put the the 2 JLs in yet (should be in Friday) but I am the type of person who loves to plan way ahead which is why I got this thread started. So I really dont even know if it will blend in or not (I am hoping it does) but if it doesn't I'll know what to upgrade to ASAP.

Please dont go by this thread alone. The 265s are excellent components for the price and will most likely do you well as they did me.
