    DSP for sub?

To equalize the sub signal from an RCA input is a DSP the best/only option? I have a Silverado with the Bose system. The bass was terribly attenuated so I used a PAC AmpPRO AP4-GM61 to get a better signal sent to my Fi Audio 12. I now get 30 Hz and below but these frequencies are out of...

Has anyone bypassed the Bose factory crossover?

Haha! Money can’t buy happiness. I’m screwed!

Has anyone bypassed the Bose factory crossover?

I have a 2015 Silverado with the factory Bose system. I tapped into the factory sub speaker wiring to send signal to an amp for a 12” sub upgrade. The problem is the signal is processed for the Bose sub. The crossover freq and eq settings a garbage. I’ve tried tapping into the signal...

    Southern California Shop

I have a 2015 Silverado 2500HD with Bose audio. I want to add a sub amp without removing the stock HU and amp display/features. My concern is that I want the signal to the subwoofer to not be processed. The stock subsonic filter is about 35hz and has heavy EQ tuning. Does any know a good shop...

Tired of trying to find pure sub signal...need help!!!

I have already posted a thread on trying to find an unfiltered signal in my stock system for a subwoofer. With no success, I am looking for recommendations on a Southern California audio shop that has the skills/experience to do the job. I have a 2015 Chevrolet 2500HD with Bose audio. I want to...

I know there were already some responses but my sub was built by Fi for sealed application plays beautifully and hits hard as hell in the 17-32Hz range.

Looking for pre-amp signle to tap into on 2015 Silverado with Bose

Thanks, I have the AudioControl but that Jl processor is certainly on another level. It looks like a good option. Also, I had thought about tapping into there factory amp input as well but had the same concerns so I thought I’d jump in here to see if anyone else had experience with this.

Looking for pre-amp signle to tap into on 2015 Silverado with Bose

I’m using a sealed box behind the center console but I want a unmodified signal sent to the amp. The signal from the Bose amp has a roll off at low frequency that produces a lot of holes in the music.

Looking for pre-amp signle to tap into on 2015 Silverado with Bose

I have a 2015 2500HD Silverado with the Bose system and the factory sub was terrible. I cut the wire at the Bose sub and redirected to an AudioControl LC2i that then sends through RCA to a Focal 900.1 (TERRIBLE amp but gave it a try) output to a single Fi SSD 12. The problem I found is that...

2001 GMC Sierra ext. cab, two 12's, underseat, sealed, fiberglass, down fire

It was hard to part ways but I wanted the 4 doors and diesel motor. The funny part is, I never would have thought I would have less room under the seat with the 4 door...if it's easy it's not fun right?

2001 GMC Sierra ext. cab, two 12's, underseat, sealed, fiberglass, down fire

The results were amazing! I ended up using an SCV-2000 to power the two FI SSD 12's and I couldn't have been happier. Six months later the engine in the truck needed to be rebuilt and I decided to buy a new truck rather than fix it. It was fun while it lasted but now I am selling everything from...

2001 GMC Sierra ext. cab, two 12's, underseat, sealed, fiberglass, down fire

With everything attached came the fun part...First sanding the glass to knock down all of the raised edges. Next the low spots were filled with bondo and then sanded, and then filled with bondo and then sanded and then filled with bondo and then sanded...This went on forever. Once the...

2001 GMC Sierra ext. cab, two 12's, underseat, sealed, fiberglass, down fire

When I had a completely sealed box I cut out the bottom to fit the subwoofer. It was important to allow a gap from the sub to the body so I taped a spacer to the bottom of the sub attached it to the mdf mount and placed it in the cut out. I used small strips of fiberglass at the corners to...
