It is the factory alt though. they come with an option of 175 and 200. I work at the ford dealer so I can confirm all of that

I am just nervous it is a very new vehicle... what if the PCM is communicating with my alternator and telling it to charge it that way because the second battery was added to the equation?

That is what I planned on doing this weekend, I think maybe I need a new alternator because when I first hop in after its been sitting a good while it is at 14.2 but immediately drops upon starting the vehicle down to 12.5 and rises back to 13-13.2 but stays there....

Exactly... I am steady at 13.0-13.2 and will not rise while driving. and no I do not have the big 3 upgrade and I believe I have a 175 amp alt

But it wasn't the problem, it was the RCA going to it was bad... now I heave a horrible voltage problem

So I have a 2015 mustang, installed two amps and my voltage was reading 14.4, installed a second battery (kinetic hc2400pro) and now I charge to 12.5-13.2 and when I first start the car it sits at 14.1-14.2. WTSF please someone help before I rip it all out

By ear with my equalizer, I tried just cutting the gain down on my amp and I swear I think the crackling and popping start slightly sooner. the sound clipping is ONLY in the mids and highs to my knowledge

I am pretty sure it is set at quarter gain....

I just want to know if skar is descent because im trying to find my clipping problem. I think it could be the Memphis EQ processor its running to giving me awful feedback
