What other subs was the vs thread on? I built a 1.5cf box for 2 sa8’s and a folded horn (modeled for 2 DD 1508’s) and the horn as loud over a larger bandwidth and was smaller. It did unload if I opened the trunk though. I’ve seen subs model up poorly but preform great

@kr15 did a bunch of diy lithiums I don’t think he tried the lite cells but he has tried a lot

If you are at even 13v that is plenty high enough voltage I ran my 5k with a 90a alt, just had to go easy on the volume to not drop too low under 12v and you should back off the volume

No it will be fine Why not just run 1 to one channel and one to the other channel Or you can do bridged at 8ohm

If I came off as condescending his bench tests I didn’t mean to I just meant so many people are stuck on “What does that amp do on the bench” When the difference of 200w isn’t going to make or break your budget 12’s in a prefab. Also if you are looking for efficiency Brazilian is the way to go

Idk how people got so crazy over clamp numbers T fade did a test and the crown gti was less efficient did less power out but was higher in score

The older apsm 1500 did great at .5ohm with good electrical I wouldn’t hesitate to run at .5 just don’t clip to death

Any chance the amp is hot? Does the amp protect right away at times or is it always after hours of playing? I do know my kicker low voltage protected WAY before my RD amp. But I was down in low 10’s and the kicker did cut out right around 10.8v You could try to add a ground wire temporarily...
