    No sound from rear speakers

It was not that. During initial set up I accidentally put unit into Framework mode. What made it a 2 channel rear sub unit. I had to reset it and make sure I have now choice of Standard, instead of framework and that changed everything. Its all good.

    No sound from rear speakers

Hi Pioneer MVH-S600BS Have it connected to Mercury Grand Marquis via Metra Ford harness. All wires connected properly. Double checked. Stereo works fine, I had it turned on. Sound is pretty decent too. There is NO sound coming from both rear speakers. None. I can't also find any fader...

How to connect a new speaker

Hi all. I have factory JBL dual coil subwoofer in my 2012 Highlander. As upgrade, I bought a Pioneer dual coil sub. Problem is, I don't knOw how to connect the new one to the factory wiring. Factory plug has 4 wires and 4 prongs. PEM speaker is 2 Ohm. I'd rather not start splicing until I...

    Amp recommendation saught

Sounds like I shall stick with what I have. I had system connected to factory sub feed and disconnected it right away. For starters, it REALLy moved the driver. I could see how much excursion it can produce. Also, it killed the sound. I have hard time describing it, but likely factory sub has...

    Amp recommendation saught

I'd say - and thank you all for response - for now, I'll keep test driving what I have. I am not into buying used electronics off ebay. I can get a mono sub amp from Walmart, Kicker, for $145, with warranty and all the same features. My next step will be to connect it to factory subwoofer audio...

    Amp recommendation saught

Driver is in 1.3 cf custom box. I drove around for an hour with it on and it's more than i need truly loudness wise. But I am seeking opinion on weather it is better off to go with a single channel amp instead of 2/3/4 channel one. Reason being it is likely to run entire spectrum through as...

    Amp recommendation saught

Hi all I have 400W rated Pioneer sub, 4 Ohm, in custom enclosure. It works fine. Truly, I bought it and Jensen 600W 2/3/4 bridgeable amp off craigslist. I finished install yesterday and am fine tuning everything. I have amp connected via rear door RCA converter, L- and R+ bridged terminals...

    Help using factory sub wires

Hi all. I have 09 Ridgeline. Has nav unit and factory sub behind the rear seats. To get to it takes several hrs labor. Sub does not do its job too good. It's a plastic ported flat 8 inch driver enclosure. Word is, it has dedicated amp somewhere in the head unit. Overall, it's a maybe decent...

    Removing BOOMMM

Mystery solved. On a hunch, turned off factory sub. That's it. That was the piece that was doing BOOOMMM. Have nice low bass, even likely too much for me.

    Sub will not turn on

    None taken.

    Removing BOOMMM

OK, so it's the bass boost. Thank you. It's very hard to adjust, it sounds completely different sitting in the driver seat from when you listen to it adjusting in the back. And being passive radiator, definitely needs some space between grill and floor, for sound wave compression and...

    Sub will not turn on

Oh, yeah, works fine in II and Run. Except that then I do have entire dashboard running. And I just can't do it, constant fear of draining battery.

    Removing BOOMMM

Very tough to. I am in 10 x 10 space underneath the rear bench seat. Basslink fits with maybe 1 inch clearance. I cab flip it upside down, as it's active driver on one side and passive radiator on the opposite. Truly, has to sit on little feet that come with it, but then it won't fit. But I can...

    Sub will not turn on

Yep, all works now. The only issue is, there is no 12V on yellow wire with ignition in I position. Headunit still operates. So, sitting with engine turned off and listening to music - no subwoofer.

    Removing BOOMMM

Hi all I have Basslink 200 in my truck, as of yesterday. For starters, for my needs, Basslink is just fine. Problem is, it worked very well in my Camry. But in the trunk. I had it in my Silverado before - worked great also. Like I said, for my needs. I placed it into my Ridgeline yesterday...
