Hi all.

I have factory JBL dual coil subwoofer in my 2012 Highlander.

As upgrade, I bought a Pioneer dual coil sub.

Problem is, I don't knOw how to connect the new one to the factory wiring. Factory plug has 4 wires and 4 prongs. PEM speaker is 2 Ohm.

I'd rather not start splicing until I know how to.

I don't think it's that easy to answer "for a complete beginner". amp and speakers ratings are those peak or RMS? Are these already installed...

Either brand make decent speakers. I like Polks more, infinity my second choice , Hertz, and JBL for mainstream speakers for the $

What is your budget? With being exposed to Rain.. I would recommend looking at a marine grade SAS Bazooka for the sub stage

the AVIC was a tad more complicated to wire not to mention stuffing it in a smallish stereo hole. thanks for advice.
