109 DBs in a single cab truck

Good or Bad? I have a 2000 Chevy Silverado with 2 12inch Kicker CompCVR124's in a sealed box with the Alpine MRD-M605 pushing them and 2 6.5 Alpine Type S speakers in the doors...I got my system metered last saturday at a car show and won a trophy lol wow at 109 dbs right i was surprised also...i just wanna hear what you guys take on this and if thats very loud for those subs in a single cab truck...thanks alot //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

109 you sure? my componets are louder than that lol. I mean 109db's isn't much. were you the only one competing? I'm not asking to be a dick i'm just amazed at 109db you won something. for reference with 12" blaupunkts off about 900w i did a 144.8 on the dash and didn't win a trophy lol.

Lol no its alright there were only 4 people entered...but i beat a blazer with 2 12inch p2s...ya and 109 isnt to bad now is it...for a single cab truck i didnt think it was to bad...

well the guy who metered it said it was like 135 normal dbs but 109 competition whatever that meant...if that means anything at all..

well like i just said the guy said it was really like 135 normal decibels but only 109 competition dbs which i didnt understand but i know my bass isnt horrible lol...and considering the blazer that i competed against with the 2 12inch p2s it wasnt quite either...

whats the comp where they take your average.... maybe thats what he had at 109 and he said the guy told him he hit 135, that was probably his high.

135 sounds more like it, that is an average score.

if you hit 135 that's not bad which is probably what you hit. was the 109 maybe an outside db metering? i'm wondering if that's what he did or what.

i watched the meter it said 109 on my dash....but i know like my system according to how you guys are talking is louder then that...considering that 2 12inch p2s in a blazer hit 107 according to the guy who owned it...
