Hello,

I presently have 2 alpine type e 10" subs in a huge box but sectioned off so the subs only get 1 cu ft each and a 500 watt alpine amp. I am very happy with the clean tight base of the 10's as i listen to mostly rock but need more trunk space.

I want to go with 1 sub preferablly a 12" that is dual voice coil 4ohm so I can get it to 2 ohm and that works well with 500 watts rms and only needs 1 to 1.5 cu ft of box space. My final requirement is that the sub is new hopefully not that expensive but not a pos either

Thanks in advance for your suggestions

thanks DB, that definitely helps swallowing a $300 price tag 😂 these would essentially be running midbass for me too

What is your budget? With being exposed to Rain.. I would recommend looking at a marine grade SAS Bazooka for the sub stage
