Amp flickering

Double check all your connections and make sure everything is tight. When you say the capacitor goes to 0, is that a voltmeter on the capacitor? It sounds like youve got a bad connection somewhere so youre losing voltage when the amp tries to turn on. Have you done the big 3? Is the cap wired to your battery?

The amp for my subwoofers flickers and then goes dim and I can hear the speakers turning on and off and it also makes the capacitor go to all 0 does anyone know how to fix it or do I have to get a new amp
That sounds like an issue at the capacitor wire or before it. If it was after the cap, the battery would keep it charged. Check that all wiring it clean and snug. Make sure grounds are on bare metal.
