Are my subs supported at one ohm?

I recently purchased a new amp (Polk Audio PA D1000.1) that is stable at 1 ohm. I was wondering if I am able to wire 2 Memphis SA12D4 subs to 1 ohm or do I have to stick to 4 ohms? If I am able to wire them at 1 ohm a wiring diagram would be much appreciated!

If your subs are truly dual 4 ohm each then yes. Should be able to.

I'm currently doing the same with my set up.

Yeah they are 4 ohm DVC, 500 watt RMS together

Just did some research and the amp is 1200 RMS x 1 at 1 ohm
