If anyone is looking for a monster amplifier I highly recommend this one PPI PC2350. It used to sell for about $1500.00 bucks new. I would trade my Eclipse "4000" watt for this one anyday. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crying.gif.ec0ebefe590df0251476573bc49e46d8.gif

I have the little brother rated at 600 watts. Pushes over a 1000, so you can imagine what this one pushes. Its rated at 1400 watts at 4 ohms.

The original Power Class series(98 models) were excellant amps and the last great PPI series. I have a PC2350 as well and it is a monster!!! I wish I had some extra cash to grab this one up cause it is in near mint condition to where mine has some scratches on it.

bump for a great amp, perfect for spl and sq.

I'll sell my Eclipse to someone when I get it back so I can buy the PPI. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/tongue.gif.6130eb82179565f6db8d26d6001dcd24.gif

IMO the last good PPI amps were the .2 art series amps, but I am some what biased. I would rather have a A1200.2
The original PC PPI is basically an Art series amp with the built in functions of the FRX-456. The PC2350 does push a bunch more power than the A1200.2.

And how would you identify if it is one of the "original PC" series?

It has to be "dark grey". Make sure it is a very dark grey.

The light grey ones came later. The chrome ones came out a year before the buy out, but that year they started using 5% components instead of 1%. Still sounded good but the reliability went through the floor.

I have to agree. I've got a PPI PC 1800 Chrome Monoblock Amp, almost never used it though. It's in great shape with almost no scratches. I was going to use it to power this massive Orion HCCA 12" Competition Sub, but never got around to build the 1 1/2" MDF enclosure, plus bought a new vehicle and don't want to mod it.

Now my wife thinks I'm too old //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif and is pestering me to sell the stuff. What do you guys think it's worth? I may stop by later and post some pix. I would just hate to see this bass pounding beauty go, though.
