Ok, so this is the situation.

I have an Orion 8004 amp it puts 100watts rms X 4 @ 4ohms.

Im trying to find a good set of comps for the front stage that can handle that power. Ive done alot of reading, but im still not sure about whats a good deal.

My budget is pretty low $100-140 im looking for a set with really good value.

If you can just list some models that you think would work well and where I could buy them at.

Im only looking for something temporary...(while im still in college and poor //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crying.gif.ec0ebefe590df0251476573bc49e46d8.gif ).

Thanks

x2, I have that CL-61a's they upgraded for free and I freaking LOVE them. WEll worth the 100$ shipped I spent.

anyways for the dude who started this thread you can view my install pics in my sig, of the cl-61's

are the highs on those CDT CL-61a's really bright? How is the midbass?
Sometimes they are a bit harsh at higher volumes, but they satisfy me. You must have your doors deadened for good midbass. I would rate the tweeters like 7-8/10 and the midbass the same, but they are only $100 SHIPPED so you really cant beat the price.

Thanks for the input so far. Im liking the sound of the cdt's.

On woofersect's website im a little confused about their deal. They have the cl-s50a's for the same price as the cl-s60a's but only the s50 has the t-25 tweeter the s60 has the t-24.

Should I go with the s50, and just convert my speaker hole, to go with the upgraded tweeter?

Is t-25 worth it?

Yes. Only thing is the leads will be encased in resin. Keep in mind that this is an assumption.

I agree with every one above. OFC is much better. Copper is a much better conductor than aluminum.
