I have a set of Infinity Kappa 6x9 comps and the mids are really good. Like really good. Got them for $175 or so new on Amazon.

Yeah iirc, infinity makes decent 6x8's.

Infinity, Pioneer, and Rockford Fosgate are the only manufacturers I've found that offer 6x8's. I really liked my power-series Rockford's, but they aren't made anymore. My newer Explorer has Infinity speakers, but they are a reputable company, and I bought them on sale.

I also have infinity speakers, and I'm very pleased with them. 6x 89 for my Mustang.
