detailer broke my sub. replacement options?

I took my car to get detailed the other day and it got punctured by one of the detailers there. they told me they would replace it but my sub is quite old and id like it replaced with todays equivalent. its an orion p1202 and i cannot find any information on this sub. Any ideas?

do you have a picture? a puncture can almost always be fixed, unless it needs to look perfect. Or are you trying to take advantage of the situation and get a newer sub because you can?

Amazing goop, Works like a charm, sub will work like new. STILL get that new sub from the detailer since it is still their fault and they own up to it.

If you are a nice guy, you can just have them pay for the amazing goop used for the repair.

what about a sundown audio sa12? how does this compare to the sd 12 d4?
If you're looking for some good quality sound on not much power I would definitely take a look at the dcon. From what I can tell, sundown doesn't offer a 12" SD. The SA-12 is a solid sub but your amp won't do it much justice. Those SA's can handle a good clean 1k to really hit their full potential.

Dcon is by far a better option for that amp

thanks DB, that definitely helps swallowing a $300 price tag 😂 these would essentially be running midbass for me too

What is your budget? With being exposed to Rain.. I would recommend looking at a marine grade SAS Bazooka for the sub stage

Don't forget Hoffman's Iron Law. You can have 2 of the 3: low end, efficiency/sensitivity or small enclosure size...

I have a Y as well, so many options you can go with. I'm running 500 watts to a JL 10W6v2 and its more than enough output for me (1.25 @ 32hz)...

One or two, they are still subwoofer outs and are mono summed signals from both left and right. Even the 2 RCA subwoofer pre-outs on the 2nd one...
