I have 2, flawless, CD8053s ready to ship to you!
Mine - Purchased in 04, and promptly installed. Used for 8 months, then removed and set back in the box. Has done nothing since but sit on a shelf. Screen is nearly flawless. Trimring, mounting can, and harness in excellent shape. Comes with original box and manual. Supposedly, the NOB remote came with it, but I never got it in the box. I have a credit card remote I will provide. Was tested today and everything functions. Never has had the ESN setup.
Other - Purchased a few months after mine. Wasnt installed till 07. Used for roughly 10 months (give or take) and is too in excellent condition. I was present when the system came out (trading in truck). Soundly beautiful.. Zapco direct balanced in, Focal V3Es up front. Oooh. The harness, trimring, and mounting can in great shape. Also has the original box and manual. He too never got a NOB remote. But unfortunately, he does not have another remote. Unit was tested and removed Jan 08. It made its way back into its box and has been sitting since.
Both in great shape. Asking $500/ea with insured shipping. US only. Will try to grab some photos this week. Forgot.. Payments: Cashiers check, money order, Paypal (prefer eCheck).
Would like to sell them to an enthusiast, that knows what this radio is about. We no longer have amps to take advantage of this radio. If you are not sure what this is, please do not buy it. It is a legendary car audio piece.
