personally....i have 4hp which is the same as the ti pro......with al large low tuned box itll sound like hot ear sex......i love my 4ho with a bruning passion. i say go back to the 15 if not an lms.....you'll be happy //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Yeah just looking at that sub, it looks loud. Now i just have to find a good, decent amp to power it if thats what i end up buying which right now looks like my number one choice. any suggestions? Do you guys know of anyone that has had personal experience with that sub? (LMS-5400)

iirc the lms 5200 isnt out yet...... i also hear its more towards SQL while the good old 4hp (i think the tc5200 is the same as the 4hp, well atl eas they have the same motor) isgeared towards spl. but in a large ported box tuned low....the 4hp will sound excellent. most excellent //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

The LMS 5400 ( lms 5200 is nothing) is selling, the 15" is sold out though

The 4hps dont need large enclosures really. 3.5 sealed for the 18" lms 5400.

The TC-5200 is still on preorder, but the LMS-5400 is out and the perorders have already shipped. We have a few more 18's in stock. The 15's are out already.

If you want an upgrade from the Eclipse Ti, the 5400 is probably more of an upgrade than the 5200, it has a longer and linear voice coil and even less distortion than the 5200 because of that. It is also one of the only drivers to use solid titanium all the way from the cone down to the voice coil former which eliminates induced eddy currents from the vc which can cause distortion commonly found in aluminum voice coil formers.

So how long would it take to get a lms-5400? and how much? i think the site said $995. But now i don't know what kind of amp to power them with. I guess i better question would be what can it be wired down to (ohms) then i no what kind of amp to look for.

The 5400 is 4 ohms or 1 ohm (dual 2 ohm vc)

An amp that has a lot of output around 1-2ohms would be the best match.

If you're looking at the 15" you'll have to wait a while, but if you're looking at the 18", they are in stock now so its just a matter of shipping time which should take about a week. The price on the website is the price they are now. There is no shipping charge on that driver.

In order to answer your question, I would need to know what model (e.g. SW4200, SW7524DVC). Also, are you looking to make a ported box or sealed?
