Fiberglass Door Pods for 99 Dodge Ram

I got some money saved up from building a few boxes, so i finally broke down and decided i needed louder mids and highs. What came out of the door (and is not going back in) was some Infinity Reference series 6x9's. They sounded great off of about 40 watts, but this will be better. Plan is doing a Soundstream SME-804 and an Audioque Bullet Tweeter in each door. Will be receiving 100 watts per side. Just started on this last night. Right now i'm letting the second pod firm up, then will be putting a couple of layers of glass on them, then milkshake for the smoothness.

Tell me what you guys think so far. Btw, this is only the 3rd fiberglass project i've ever done so i'm open for criticism.

The AQ tweeter is VERY loud off the 50 watts I'll be sending it, so i didn't want it blaring in the ears. It sounds great at this level on the door, but when i open the door it will project for a very long distance. And, this way it keeps the pod simple and clean looking.

Milkshake applied and sanded down. Next step is fill in any valleys with spot putty, and paint them. I'm going to do a Fleck Stone paint to match my kick panels i did a few years ago.

No venting into the door because this isn't intended to be a sealed setup. And the board was easier to form off of, and to mount to the door. Cuts down on build time by a lot with no making the fiberglass base.

After just throwing the tweeter in the door real quick to see how it sounded, they sounded great at shin level aiming sideways. Brings the sound stage up to head level, but isn't harsh. I stepped out of the truck and got about 6 feet away at its level and it was deafening loud. I wouldn't want to aim these at anyones face. Haha. They sound amazing though.
