That 1000w means very little. Its really only 500rms. Just keep the gain down to about less than half way and they should be able to handle it.

 
i would get a two channel amp and bridge it that way if you ever want to upgrade or something you can run that 2 channel amp to your components since your only running 150w to that sub.

look into orion HP series amps, they are awesome and cheap on ikesound.com

whats bridging? would my local car audio store be able to do it for free? sorrry i know little to nothing about this stuff
