Help with 05 Silverado: Rewire or what?

the bose amp is in the center console. remove the cup holder and the wires are right there

Don't worry about trying to dig around in a junkyard to find a harness.

Just buy a Metra 71-2003-1

They build 71-series kits for just what you have going on (friend helps with install and butchers stock harness).

Just get that harness and attach it to the wires from the original harness. It should be no more than $15.

the wires i have that were connected to my head unit are not the normal colors because its a bose system i believe? i dont have a red wire. i have like 3 orange tho? i dont know... i do have a black. its weird. im gonna see if my friends harness would match my harness, he has an extended cab bose gmc truck and i have a 4 door bose chevy. he has on star and i dont. we will see if it matches. but if it doesnt i still need help wiring. plus i need a speed wire or somethin and another strange wire for my screen to work right and i dont know about those.

i mean it doesnt even look like i have a red? is there any way to trace these wires? i dunno, it seems i need the exact colors, i need to check my friends harness
