Just turn radio on really low and let it play for fee ?I live in Minot, ND. It gets as cold as -40 here. No need to take the amp or subs out in the winter. Just allow them to warm up like you are warming up your car before you beat on them.
Just let them play on low for few ?IDK what cold is but I would assume the spiders are stiffer in the winter so I would be easy on them until they warm up.
Just let them play on low for few ?
Ok thank youI usually have it on low while I am warming up my car. Basically, I hit the remote starter, go out in 10 minutes, and beat the piss out of them. Have never had a problem
Wait until you feel warm in your car and you should be fine.Just let them play on low for few ?
Voice coils are coated conductors. I wouldn't worry about shorting them.I know about cold.
You need to be ABSOLUTELY sure that you have ZERO clipping. Distortion creates heat. Heat and cold together will cause what's known as the Peltier effect aka condensation. Your sub can get soaking wet causing the coil to short. The same can happen inside your amp.
