doesnt matter either way....ok...im not going to argue about it cause really i could give 2 f#cks less what he hits.
10db louder is doubletechnically speaking in physics, 3db louder is doubled, thats why u need double the power or an extra speaker to be 3 db louder. so 20 db is like 7 times louderI had 4 15 inch orion ntenses and 1200 watts of autotek mean machine in full size blazer:crazy like 5 yrs ago that hit 152 and Im deaf now:crazy:
never changed?WHy did the formula change, competitors, product quality? That wouldn't seem to make sense, but I'll wait for an explanation.
Kent wouldn't know loud if it kicked him in the jewels. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/tongue.gif.6130eb82179565f6db8d26d6001dcd24.gifit's harder today to get a 150 because the mics used are much more accurate, and alot harder to cheat.
the 150 of ten years ago might not grab a 150 today, and i'd wager it would barely break a 140.
Spkrman, mathematiclly (spl?) speaking, 3db is indeed twice as loud(twice the intensity), though the human ear perceives 10db to be twice as loud. squeak post the formula a bit earlier in this thread....
