i've got a PM...i think

so i log in today to see that i've got 1 new private message. so i open things up to find that there are no new messages showing...or at least from what i can see. I then proceeded to scroll down my messages, and all the way at the bottom i see a message that i supposedly received December 31, 1969!!! there is no subject, nor does it show who its from...just the date on the right side. since there is no way to read it, becuase theres nothing there, i can't delete it....so every time i sign in, it still says i have a new PM.

what the hell?!?!?
