Yes, you'd be able to trigger them with the alarm system, as long as you get a system with keyless entry.

If you plan on doing this yourself...door actuators are cheap, but can be a pain to install.

If you plan on having a shop do it...it may not be worth it...for door actuators, we charge about 20/door for parts and 75/door for labor...

well my brother works at bestbuy...and he said they could do the stuff.....it would be like 170 installed for a keyless entry alarm system (not sure what kind) and it would be like 70 bucks to do the door locks, i just have to buy the door lock kit, and find an alarm system that suites my needs

They should sell the Viper then...it's probably your best bet- really a simple alarm/keyless entry system that will do what you want it to do.

if you havent set your mind on one yet, compustar makes a great alarm. best range i have personally seen out of any. i usually make the dealer come out and show me the realistic, outdoor, real-life range on his own car or another, they always have one person with that alarm. i will be getting my compustar probably this summer when i get another job.

IMO you really do not need a whole lot of range unless you are going with a 2-way paging system. Something basic like those vipers would do you just fine, and seems like you're getting a good deal through best buy. Where I work our labor prices are right with Snova's at 75$ a door parts and labor to put in actuators.

In that case, if you had the money anyway, I would strongly consider the upgrade to a 2-way paging alarm system. I would imagine you are looking at around a 70-80$ upgrade, but remember that you can always take it out and put it in your next car. I know the next alarm that finds it's way onto one of my cars will be an Audiovox APS-997
