Looking for one LOUD sub for my expedition

Of course I want something that gets loud and sounds clear along with everyone else. Im on a budget so im thinking maybe (1) Type X? What do you guys think? Will 450 clean watts be enough to push this thing or should I be looking more toward one Type R?

You can't do multiple subs?? Would be easier to get loud off 450 with a couple of 10s or 12s... Resonant Engineering REs! 2 12s... Would be cheap, and in a solid ported enclosure, you would be loud off minimal power... Why one woofer in such a large vehicle?

if you have only 450 watts i think the loudest thing you could get for that money would be a Digital Designs 1500 series sub. probably a 1515. It would sound amazing too. the main thing is, whatever sub you choose you need to put it in a specified box to that sub PORTED.
