Hey whats a good pair of 5 1/4 speakers for my doors? im lookin' for really good mid bass ones? are the alpine type r speakers any good for that? if there are any other really good ones out ther tell me so i can limit my choices thanx

type r's are excellent mid-bass drivers for 5-1/4. you could prolly find em pretty cheap on ebay or soem place like that. i would recoment the typr r's

same here....i'd suggest the alpine type r's as well.....but the best way is to go to somewhere like best buy or circuit city and listen to as many diff. comps as u can....then base your choice on that then hit us up for a cheaper place to get them.....peace
