i am debating on Diamond D3's or Infinity Referance series, maybe the Type S comps... just looking for the best quality sound and midbass for the price...

i have heard that CDT's were good as well...

Requirements:

~ 2.5" max depth

~ power = 90rms x 2 @ 4ohms or 180rms x 2 @ 2

Thanks

Somone just picked up a set of Crystal Mobile Sound comps for like $160...might be the best bargan out there. If you don't care about the brand name, look at the Madisound comp set...http://www.madisound.com

interesting... i wanna stay below or at $130 if i can, thanks

The madisound Vifa components Fox mentioned are probably the best at $120.00... along with the DEI/directed neos if you need a 6.5" set.

If you could get an extra $10 - $20, the P series Orion's at onlinecarstereo are probably the best sound per dollar you can find at this time.

The Crystal Kevlar components would make my best bang for the buck top ten list, but the Orion's are better... better tweeter, better and lower crossover point.

The Kappa's have a high sensitivity rating of 93 db so the X802-5 would be fine. A good high sensitivity 8" sub in a properly sized box would fit...
