Need Help with Wiring

I have a 12" 06 re audio XXX and the wire between the terminal and the voice coil of the positives of both terminals are disconnected on the sub woofer. What would be the best way to reconnect the wire? Should I solder the wire together? or connect the wire together with speaker wire? Please let me know the best way to reconnect the wires.
