I don't think that either are exceptional and for the same kind of money would elect to go with the NVX carbon fiber series.

Outstanding German made silk tweeter unmatched at this price point, in my opinion.

Otherwise, the NVX V series is a little less money an probably comparable to the RF's budge stuff. RF makes some decent speakers, just in their higher end stuff.

The T1 produce a minimum amount better mid bass. I'm talking minuit amount. Wasn't enough for the money. The tweeter is harsh.

The biggest difference will be in the tweeter and the crossover. Coaxials all **** IMHO.

I would go with the cheaper of the 2 and do my best to deaden the doors and seal the doors to make them act like a speaker box. Then use foam weather stripping to seal the mounting surface of the speaker to the door card so that sound doesn't get between the door card and the door.
