I am looking for a Double Din under $400 MSRP with quality sound. I am choosing not to go with the DEH-80PRS - CD Receiver with 3-Way Active Crossover Network, Auto EQ, and Auto Time Alignment | Pioneer Electronics USA because of the single din, however the Burr Brown x3 is ****. The AVH-X4800BS - DVD Receiver with 7" Motorized Display, Bluetooth®, Siri® Eyes Free, SiriusXM-Ready™, Spotify®, and AppRadio One™ | Pioneer Electronics USA . What other head units would you recommend? This is for a SQ setup. I have sold my Kenwood DD. Yes, time alignment is important, but I might go mini dsp.

The vehicle is a C5Z06. So I am looking at either 2 way active with a 7" midrange and 1" tweeter. Or 8" midbass, 3" midrange and 1" tweeter. But I want to nail down the head unit first.

Thoughts on a head unit?

Kenwood is known for good sound but a very complicated menu setup. Pioneer is easier to use and sounds good. The car is probably loud inside, right?

I have a customer who did CDT 6.7" midbass, 3" mids and 1" tweeters in his C5. We could do that for you and get that part of the project settled.

Look into the 4000nex 4100nex 4200nex models I have the 4000 and it sounds pretty decent to me and has more setting then the 4800
