ported,huge difference?

Every time I have used the same sub in different boxes such as sealed and different ported boxes I have noticed a difference. So yes.

yep ported does make a huge difference. Also depending on the car, different cars get louder than others, for example hatchbacks etc... or slant back suv's such as a blazer. These cars are notorious for getting loud with little power. My friend has a small hatchback neo with 1 10" sub ported on about 500 watts, and i know guy thats has 2 15's on about 1200 watts and they sound almost identical because the difference in the cars.

If you want more air to be push plus a bigger box than for sheer bang probably the best bet.My system is of high quality my box is not to big and it is sealed, and it hits pretty hard for a sealed box.

Lol.

I dont know about you guys, but i bought my stereo for my enjoyment.

Can you hear my Sealed 15's from blocks away? Probably, But it Sounds much better in the drivers seat.

Yeah i think people should get the stereo for their enjoyment too, but i think most people get them just to wang so other people can hear them.

Proto - Then they whine like baby's when they are heard, And followed for blocks only to wake up the next day missing thier whole set-up.

7ender - Id be happier ported as well, However i just cant seem to get 7 cubes plus post and sub displacment in the trunk of my car.

if you had two cars same sub one sealed and one ported could you tell a difference. i want the low base that you can here from blocks away do you need ported to get that?
forget the enclosure and just mount the subs to the roof of the vehicle. You will be heard from blocks away and have mad steet cred and be the hero of the stupid //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

I'm 22 and I still like showing off //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif Wait, my dad's 46 and he still does it too //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

I have no problem cranking it up, but "showing off" to me means they're sitting in the driver's seat and listening to more than just bass //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
