I bought a cheap prefab because I didnt have the workspace and on a budget after a few drinks lead me to an impulsive purchase that amazingly had already done shipped and in transit before I woke up the next day....Long story short I knocked the port walls out, calculated net volume after bracing and small deflectors angled behind each sub and drove around for 3 months experimenting with various port lengths, diameters and net with any material I could get cheap or free and can be modified quickly while making a dozen stops a day sometimes. I then designed a slot enclosure tuned high around the box volume and port area that rattled my suv the most with the L portion external that can be tuned with lengths of MDF. Ordered a cordless jigsaw took a cut sheet to home depot and assembled in my vehicle at some vacant commercial space, a car wash, and a construction site on a Sunday afternoon.
