req makes his VW GTi infinite baffle with IDQ15's PICS :D

It's already done now, but it you wanted a LITERALLY tight a fit as possible.
Tape off the hatch with 2" masking tape, as well as back seat. (Where the baffle meets up).

Place un carpeted baffle in place, and use bondo to form the edges to the panel even better than when you fiberglassed. Take off, sand.

Then, I'd personally recommend a vinyl, allante vinyl. Something to match your interior.

Looks solid Andy.

i was actually going to do that noah. but i was out of kitty hair. i was grumpy, and i do have some nice black vynl under my bed. but i dont have a sanding block and it was a ***** and a half sanding that **** with a little 3m rubber block and 40 grit. maybe if i had an orbital DA i wouldnt have minded as much //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/pissed.gif.9f665f96bc89e98e708dabd4580bb591.gif . i dont have a nice place to sand. its just a big pain in my ass to work on this **** where im at if you know what i mean. i still think it turned out real clean though.

Why would you play them with the hatch open? You risk unloading doing that don't you?
was not full tilt. but if i turn it up all the way im sure they would protest. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/naughty.gif.94359f346c0f1259df8038d60b41863e.gif

and jason. ill take a new vid just for you with the whole hatch //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/cool.gif.3bcaf8f141236c00f8044d07150e34f7.gif

Probably a dumb question but a question none the less, why are you using 2 HU's??? Or is one a DVD or something special???

Jon
one is the HU and one is the controller for the H701 (processor)

the processor has time-correction, EQ, phase, x-over, and other multi-channel 5.1 settings. The controller is needed to adjust any of the settings on the processor, unless you have an Alpine HU control the processor.

as stated, its an active 5 way crossover, 6 channel 1\3 octave eq, dolby 5.1 decoder, 6 channel time alignment and some other crap //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/tongue.gif.6130eb82179565f6db8d26d6001dcd24.gif

channel 1 (output 1\2 for highs) = front 1

channel 2 (output 2\3 for mids) = front 2

channel 3 (output 3\4 for rears im not using) = rear

channel 4 = center\sub

channel 5 = sub (bridge 4\5 with the controller)

so its real REAL versatile. you just need a double din or some other place to mount the thing because it is the volume controll and everything. real easy to use once you get used to it. you can eather set EACH SPEAKER's eq\xover\time align... or you can set each channel (output 1, output 2 ect) together each pair of speakers have the same settings. theres a bunch of 'save spots' (1-0 buttons) so you can have an eq\xover\time align to suit different music and so on.

and it looks super sexy. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

alarm is in the works. fixing car, getting new tires, new horn bodies, alarm.

sigh. i need monies. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/tongue.gif.6130eb82179565f6db8d26d6001dcd24.gif
