Setting Bass center Frequency/alpine

Ok, just had the apline 9856 installed, but was wondering how to set up the Bass center frequency up and also what it actually does.

The Manual says it can be set between 80Hz-100Hz-120Hz-60Hz.

That's way over my head.

can somone help me out.

its just if you turn the bass adjustment up, thats what frequency it will amplify the most

at the shop they set it at 80HZ, what will setting it to 100Hz, or 60Hz do.

Audio is not my 1st language, so it migh take me a while to understand what yourt saying

setting it lower will boost lower freq's and setting it higher will boost the higher ones... what you set it at will depend on waht kind of car, what equipment, and personal taste... just play around with it and see which setting sounds best to you

put it to 60 or 80 hz
