Single Cab truck box help

To start off with i've got a 99 Dodge 1500 regular cab truck. I've been through various boxes with different results, all getting progressively louder. I started off with a 2 cube box tuned to 34 hz with a 3" aero port (137.8dB), then i went to a fiberglass box that was 2.4 cubes with 6" aero port tuned to 36hz (140.0 dB), both of which were behind the seats (at different times of course). Now i've got a 1.8 cube center console box with 38 sq.in. of port tuned to 34hz (141.6 dB). I'm really wanting to go with a box behind the seat again so i can get my center seat back, but i don't want to go down in dB's. I know it can be done, i just would like to know from you guys what a good box volume, port size, and tuning frequency would be good to play the lows without bottoming out and to be hitting up around 141-142, or even higher. And btw, my truck resonates at 40 hz.

The equipment i'm running for my sub stage is:

Fi 12" Bl D2

Powerbass 1500.1

2 batteries under the hood and a stinger sp1700 behind drivers seat

I can go up to about 2.2 cubes (.75 inch MDF for material).

If you need more information i can provide, but i believe i've covered everything.

Thank you.

Here's pics of the current setup.

try sub facing forward(obviously) with an aeroport out the side, facing the passenger side wall

There's a guy on caco with 2-10's in a single cab, subs forward with the port facing the passenger wall...he's at a 149.?

I've got a 4" port on hand. Would that be good? I thought the 6" wasn't enough restriction and the sub would overexcurd when playing lower notes. And best option for me is sub behind passenger seat, so would port facing driver side at the lower part of the box, or port facing passenger side up toward the top of the box be better?

I did 149.x @ 49 hz outlaw with a pair of DD2510s and an AQ2200 in this box(~1.7cuft and ~ 48sqin of port)...of course I had more duct tape when metered //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif I had a stock alternator and batt under the hood, and a Batcap 800 under the seat. I did manage to get a 150 @ 49hz with the same equipment a month later but with a bigger box (2cuft with 66sqin of port)...but I don't have any pics of it. A similar box with some 12"s and a D9 got me into the 152s.

Is the skinny part going toward the passenger side the whole port? Or is only a portion of that port?

I'm thinking 1.8 cubes with 35 or so in^2 of port tuned to 38 hz, sub behind passenger seat with port in the top part of the box facing toward the passenger side. Sound good?

I can go up to about 2.2 cubes (.75 inch MDF for material).

.
About 2.2 cubic feet, 2.5 cubes without port figured in. I can do the design part, i just want an opinion on net volume, port area, and tuning frequency to have a box that plays well daily, but still drop a good number (141 or better on the dash).

I would add an ANL Fuse @the amplifier supply with its recommended 100 ANL fuse, and Keep the 120-150 @the Battery...

Well the setup I mentioned cost around 1,000 USD in my country and an extra 500 USD for the DPS. HU? The car display? I plan to stay with original

2x 4 ohm coils can be wired parallel to 2 ohms or series to 8 ohms. There's many amps with 2 ohm power you can use.
