ok so i just bought an amp and will be installing it + my comps this week. i am not sure on how to wire it. let me know if this is right or wrong.

So you have the RCA's to go from the HU to the amp. Then you have the speaker wire from the head unit to the crossover and then crossover to the tweeter/midrange. Am i right? thanks

You are correct

Dont forget about your remote wire, power wire, ground wire...but thats a given
