I'm piecing together my next substage and I plan to run a single 12" on 1200-1500rms. I'm looking for about 60% SPL and 40% SQ. I plan to tune around 30hz and will most likely have the box built and designed by pro-rabbit or double 07. My price range is $250-300 for the single 12." What are you recommendations? I'm pretty open to anything as long as it's new. I'm not interested in buying used subs (amp I may buy used though).

That looks pretty interesting. Do you have any personal experience with it?
Sure do, my brother had a 15 inch one on a US Amps 2000x that was modified and putting out around 4,000 watts. Super clean sounding, absolutely demolished the lows too. He was hitting 146's with it in a trunk car. One of my favorite subs of all time by far. When I get an amp that will play one, I'm buying one.

Nice. I plan to transfer my substage over to my next car, so I'm not too worried about going big. And I'm hoping my next car will be a BMW e46 m3. Just gotta hope I'll be able to fit the box in the trunk.

Two subs, same issue, two LOC's same issue, seems to me that there is an issue upstream. Have you tested the amp disconnected from the signal...

That would be a function of the harness, not the HU, I think. Have you looked into a Maestro or iData interface? i would check with crutchfield...

thanks DB, that definitely helps swallowing a $300 price tag 😂 these would essentially be running midbass for me too

What is your budget? With being exposed to Rain.. I would recommend looking at a marine grade SAS Bazooka for the sub stage
