sub placement in full size blazer

looking at getting a 92-94 fullsizer blazer.. would i get better sound quality putting the sub in the cargo area or in a custom center console?

thinkin of getting a sa-10 on a sundown 1000 @ 2 ohms

cargo area would work best due to the difference in sound wave distance and reflections....IMO
