I just installed my system and it seems to be tuned some what decently. After getting it tuned I think that I do want some speakers in the rear for fill, initially I didnt think I wanted to. My truck takes 6x8s, as its a ford. I think I want to stay with 6x8 for an easy fit ( no ring, cutting etc etc )

Im running a PPI 900.4 amp, pushing an Image Dynamics 6.5cs component set up front. That amp is 100w RMS at 12v and a little more over 14v. I found a set of IDs that are 5x7 but they dont take the RMS, they are rated at 75RMS.

Also, I seen some speakers have a tweeter in them, should I go with a two way or a speaker without a two way ( I dont know the correct name ).

What Im wondering is what do you guys recommend to match up to the IDs up front and have 100rms ?

That’s the little single 6.5 inch enclosure. The Savard did just as well as the RDS. These subs do well in ported or 6th orders but not as well...

It is a little overkill with the batteries, but underkill with the alternator. Ideally, you want an alternator that will keep up with your system...

Thanks. That makes sense. It sounds pretty good as is.
